Awarded PhD (2017) with thesis entitled “Optimising the Outcomes of Hip and Knee Replacements

He was trained by several eminent surgeons including Professor Allan Gross, Professor Hans Kreder, Professor Marvin Tile, Dr Joseph Schatzker. Was awarded the Zane Cohen Fellowship Achievement Award by the University of Toronto; the first time awarded to an orthopaedic surgeon.

Personal interests

Married with two sons. A keen sportsman, was awarded an Oxford Blue (Rugby League) and has completed over 15 marathons and five Ironman Triathlons. Now regularly runs half marathons for local charities.
