Professional interests
Mr Sandeep Chauhan is a Specialist Knee Surgeon who deals with a wide of knee and sports injury conditions. He pioneered the global use in the use of computers in Knee surgery as well as robotic surgery development- both of which he has led in Sussex.
He was recently awarded a NHS National Innovation Fellowship for his pioneering work in using digital tools to help patients in surgery.
He regularly manages a wide variety of complex knee conditions- both degenerative and sports related. His joint replacement practice has used computer or robotic aided procedures since 2002.
He has been an NHS Consultant at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust since 2002.
He also works as a member of the Complex Arthroplasty Unit, working in a team of Orthopaedic Consultants dealing with complex joint replacement problems.
Personal interests
Sandeep is married with four children and enjoys cycling, swimming and learning to paddle board.
