Arthritis and joint replacement in the hand and wrist.
Nerve compression syndromes.
Non surgical treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture.

Training

Trained in orthopaedics in the Wessex region. Hand surgery training in Nottingham 1997.

Professional interests

Member of British Society for Surgery of the Hand. I spend a lot of time teaching surgeons about joint replacement in the hand. I am involved with the international users group for the development of a finger joint replacement. I also teach on several hand surgery courses for trainee surgeons.

Personal interests

Chris has just about finished restoring a 450-year-old farmhouse. He is interested in classic sports cars and motor racing. His wife is a Rheumatologist and they enjoy skiing, swimming and water sports.
